EVERYTHING ABOUT DENTAL SEALANTS
Dental sealants are thin, protective coatings brushed onto the grooves of back teeth. They block food and bacteria from settling in deep pits—helping prevent cavities, especially in kids and teens (and cavity-prone adults).
We clean the tooth, lightly prepare the surface, rinse and dry, then paint on a liquid resin and cure it with a special light. No shots. No drilling. It takes only a few minutes per tooth.

You may feel a light coating at first; most people adjust within a day. You can eat and drink right away—we’ll check your bite and smooth any high spots if needed.
Brush and floss daily and keep routine cleanings. Avoid chewing ice or very sticky candy to prevent chipping. Sealants can last several years and are easy to repair or replace during checkups.
We’ll review a clear estimate before treatment. Our procedures are often elective; flexible financing is available through CareCredit® and LendingClub®.
