- Oral conscious sedation (pill) — deeper relaxation; you stay awake but drowsy. You’ll need an adult to drive you home.

With nitrous, you breathe normally through a small mask and feel calm within minutes; effects fade just as fast. With oral sedation, you’ll feel relaxed and time often seems shorter—you may remember little of the appointment.
