EVERYTHING ABOUT ULTRASONIC CLEANING
Ultrasonic cleaning uses gentle vibrations and a fine water mist to break up tartar and plaque efficiently. It helps reach areas that are hard to brush, shortens chair time, and sets up a smooth polish for that fresh, just-cleaned feel.
A slim tip vibrates at high frequency while water flushes away debris. We adjust power and angle for comfort, then finish with hand instrumentation and a polish for a smooth, clean surface.

Is it safe with fillings, crowns, or implants?
Yes—when used properly. We select tips and techniques appropriate for your restorations and gum health.
You’ll hear a soft hum and feel a light mist. Most patients find it comfortable; if you’re sensitive, we can lower power, warm the water, and use topical comfort options. Your gums may feel a bit tender for a day—this is normal and temporary.
Rinse well after your visit, brush and floss daily, and sip water frequently. If your gums feel tender, a warm salt-water rinse can help.
We’ll review a clear estimate before treatment. Our procedures are often elective; flexible financing is available through CareCredit® and LendingClub®.
